Above image was by tweeted by EVLeaks on Jan 8.Last month it was rumored that the codenamed Normandy device is supposed to be an budget Android smartphone. Those leaks suggested that Normandy will be sharing the iconic Lumia design and will come in different colors, just like the Asha and Lumia phones.
Other sources and rumors describes the specification of Normandy.According to it, Nokia RM-980 A110 codenamed Normandy reported featuring a 4" FWVGA display (480x854 pixels), a 5MP rear camera and runs on Android 4.4.1 KitKat. and the chipset powering the Normandy is Qualcomm Snapdragon.
It seems unlikely that Microsoft would continue to support Android for Nokia Smartphones once its acquisition of Nokia is complete. But still there is some scope for Microsoft to support this project. According to CNET, "For Microsoft to accept a Nokia Android phone, it would have to first conclude that the point of Windows Phone is not to earn revenue from licensing the OS but to earn revenue from the various Microsoft services and products that run on the phone."
